The Helen Day Art Center shares a restored Greek Revival building in Stowe with the town library. This nonprofit, community-based visual arts institution provides classes and exhibits, in addition to sponsoring a number of events throughout the year, including the Spring Fling, For Art's Sake (an annual August tribute to local and emerging artists) and the Helen Day Art Awards.

The gallery is open Tuesday through Sunday, 12-5. The Center can be reached at 802-253-8358.
