2 cups milk
dash of salt
2 cups maple syrup
1 tsp. vanilla
3 beaten egg yolks
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
6 T. flour
whipped cream
Combine milk, syrup, yolks and flour in a double boiler.
Cook for about 1/2 hour over simmering water. Add the salt and vanilla,
then pour into a baked pie crust. Sprinkle with the nuts and chill.
Serve with the whipped cream and sprinkle on additional nuts for garnish.
