Maple Pralines

2 cups sugar
1 cup maple syrup
2/3 cup milk
2 cups pecan meats

Boil the sugar, syrup and milk to soft ball stage, about 236 degrees (F). Remove from heat, let it cool and beat it until creamy and smooth. Stir in pecans and drop by the spoonful on buttered paper.
