1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
1 3/4 cups all purpose flour
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 egg
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
1/2 cup maple syrup (dark)
1/4 tsp. salt
1/3 cup dairy sour cream
1 1/4 cups rolled oats (quick)
Cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Blend in the egg, syrup and sour cream. Add together the dry ingredients
and slowly blend into the butter/sugar mixture. Stir in the oats. Drop
cookies by the spoonful onto a greased pan and cook in a 375 degree
oven for 8-10 minutes. Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar and let cool.
