Kidsplace

Kidsplace's mission? To "foster positive adult-child interactions and to expand children's horizons through interactive exhibits and displays." Originally the Children's Museum of Windham County, Kidsplace is geared towards kids aged 0-8 and offers a safe and stimulating place to play. Among the many things here to play in or on are a two-story townhouse, a castle, a ship and a train. There is an art room, a space maze, a ball room and many more areas that will keep kids busy for hours. Kidsplace hosts a number of special events throughout the year and is available to book for birthday parties.

Kidsplace is open Wednesday through Friday, 10-4 and Saturday, 11-5. They are not open during the summer months, so you'll have to find yourself a real castle (ex. Wilson Castle) or ship (ex. Shelburne Museum) to play during those months. The price of admission is $4/visit, while kids visit for free. Family memberships are also available for $75/year. Kidsplace is located on Elliott Street in Brattleboro and can be reached at 802-254-5212.
