Green Mountain Audubon Nature Center

The Green Mountain Audubon Nature Center is located on 255 acres that was a working farm into the 1940s. Today it offers a diverse mix of habitats, including fields, ponds, forests, swamps, rivers and more. These habitats allow birds and wildlife to thrive while providing an excellent educational experience for visitors.

The Nature Center offers a variety of educational programs for kids and spearheads wildlife conservation projects, an annual bird census and more.

The Nature Center is located in Huntington and is open every day, from dawn to dusk. A visitor center is open in the afternoons when staff is available. You can find a virtual tour and map on their Website, or reach them by phone at 802-434-3068.
