The Vermont Marble Exhibit
in Proctor is the world's largest such exhibit, and visitors to
it will be rewarded with a number of fun and educational things
to see and do. Some of the special sections of the exhibit include
the Hall of Presidents, Marbles of the World, exhibits on the
history of quarrying and geological history and much more. A gift
shop also offers a variety of marble items for the home, office,
kitchen, etc. Visitors to the Exhibit's Website
will find examples of many of the items the gift shop carries,
as well as a virtual tour.
The Vermont Marble Exhibit is open seven days a
week, mid-May through the end of October, 9-5:30. Normal admittance
rates are $6/adults, $4/seniors and $3/teens. Those who wish to
