The Shores Memorial Museum comes in
the form of a working man's home in the late Victorian era. The
building itself was built in Queen Anne style by James Shores
in 1896, and it now features period rooms and furnishings, with
a number of exhibits that include war memorabilia and a doll collection.
The Museum is open Saturday and Sunday, 2-4 through August and
by appointment (call 802-626-8547). Admission is by donation.
The Shores Memorial Museum is located on Main Street in Lyndon
Center. |
