The Noyes House was built
in the early 19th century by the Safford family and was the first
location to be settled in Morrisville. Today, this two-story Federal
style brick mansion features seventeen rooms and a carriage house
stuffed with exhibits that include toys, furniture, tools, quilts,
costumes, military artifacts and more. The Museum also houses
research archives and an extensive photo collection. Guided tours
are available. Special events at the Museum include an annual
open house with the Morrisville Military Band playing.
The Noyes House Museum is open late June through
August, Wednesday through Saturday, 1-5. The Museum can be reached
at 802-888-7617 or 802-888-5605. |
