The Fleming Museum

Opened in 1931 as the Robert Hull Fleming Museum, the UVM-based Fleming Museum houses Vermont's most conprehensive collection of art and anthropology. The Museum contains some 20,000 objects that span from the early Mesopotamian era to contemporary America, and special exhibits are always available for viewing. Guided tours are available (reservations are requested), and the Fleming Museum also offers educational programs, classes, workshops, films and more.

The Fleming Museum is open on the following schedule:

Labor Day - April 30
Tuesday-Friday, 9-4
Saturday and Sunday, 1-5
Closed Monday

April 30-Labor Day
Tuesday-Friday, 12-4
Saturday and Sunday, 1-5
Closed Monday

The price of admission is $3/adults, $5/family, $2/students and seniors and free for children under 6, members and students from nearby colleges. You can reach the Fleming Museum at 802-656-0750, or stop by their Website to view upcoming events and programs (note: their goal is to eventually make the entire collection availble via the Web.
