Bread and Puppet Museum

The Bread and Puppet Theater has been astounding audiences since 1962 with their unique performances, and their museum documents a lot of this history. Here you'll find the world's largest collection of gigantic puppets arranged by size, color and theme. Hundreds of puppets and masks pack the 130 year old barn that houses the collection, and guided tours and a museum shop are available for visitors.

Located off Route 122 in Glover, the Bread and Puppet Museum is open daily June through October, 10-5. Admission is free. Activities such as workshops, performances and woodcut printing are also available in July and August. Call 802-525-3031 for more information.
