The Battle of Hubbardton
is the only Revolutionary War battle to take place entirely on
Vermont soil, and this event is memorialized at the Hubbardton
Battlefield State Historic Site in East Hubbardton. This site
features a visitors reception center (constructed in 1970) that
houses a museum, diorama, interpretive exhibit with period artifacts
and more.
The site is open to visitors May through mid-October,
Wednesday to Sunday, 9:30-5. The cost of admittance is $2 for
adults, children 14 and under free. Group rates are also available.
