President Calvin Coolidge State Historic Site

Surrounded by the 18,511 acres of the Coolidge State Forest, the President Calvin Coolidge State Historic Site commemorates the birthplace and childhood home of the 30th United States President, Calvin Coolidge. It is also where Coolidge was sworn in by his father upon the death of President Warren Harding. The town of Plymouth Notch contains many buildings that have remained virtually unchanged over the past century, including a cheese factory, church, general store and more. The site includes a visitor's center and, a short walk away, the cemetery where Calvin Coolidge is buried.

The site is open from late-May to late-October on a daily basis, 9:30-5. The price of admission is $6.50/adults, while children 14 and under get in for free. Special group rates are also available. The President Calvin Coolidge State Historic Site can be reached at 802-672-3773.
