Camping Recipes

Ah, camping and weenie-beanies. Fine for the Boy Scouts, but isn't it better to hit the woods and eat like royalty? The following sites can let you do just that with a wide variety of recipes specially created to meet the limitations of cooking in the great outdoors.

Camping Recipes - From The Camping Source - Great collection of recipes, particularly in their Great Main Dishes section.

Camp Recipes - Very nicely laid out, with dozens of recipes in categories such as Breads, Soups and Stews, Vegetables, Beef and even an Emergency Survival Food section.

RecipeSource - We couldn't have a section on recipes without including RecipeSource. Their camping recipes section isn't huge (a little over 3 dozen at this writing), but varied and interesting.

Scoutorama - I didn't mean to dig the Boy Scouts above. Lo these many years ago when I wore the uniform, we used to cook up some very tasty food on camping trips. Scoutorama proves this with over 300 recipes organized by meal (breakfast, lunch, dinner).
