Specialized Tours
Sometimes bike tours towards specific groups, such as women or
teens. Sometimes they are so focused -- one tour, one time a year
-- that they really don't fit the description of a full-fledged
touring company. Either way, we have grouped both here under specialized
tours.
WomanTours
The title pretty much says it all. WomanTours
offers a couple of different tour options (Northeast Kingdom,
Champlain Valley) for women only. For 2002, these tours are both
six day, one time events run in August. For more information,

Teen Touring
A couple of different companies run tours strictly for teenagers.
Overland
(1-413-458-9672) offers two-week tours from Williamstown, MA to
Montreal, Canada several times in the summer. These are for grades
8-10. Finally, the Student
Hosteling Program (1-800-343-6132) offers a couple of different
Vermont bike trips, including a 21-day Vermont to Maine trek. |
