Suicide Six

Woodstock has the distinction of being the site of the first ski tow in America, and the Suicide Six Ski Area was built a short distance from this historic site. It has 2 chair lifts and a j-bar for its 23 trails, and also features a snowboarding halfpipe. Equipment rentals and lessons are available, and for those interested in combining their skiing with some of the finest lodging in the state, package deals with the Woodstock Inn are also available.
