Vermont Haunts

While better known for Currier and Ives than Poe and King, Vermont is not without a very healthy ghost population. Inns, colleges, covered bridges... the idyllic landscape contains its share of creepy places and chills down the spine. Lest there be any doubt: under cover of night, greens turn to black; under the guise of shortened days, greens turn to the blood red of dying leaves.
