Mendon, Vermont

Located at the southern tip of the Green Mountain National Forest (and on Rt. 4), Mendon and its namesake Mendon Mountain are a short distance from skiing at Killington and the city of Rutland, and offers the lodges and shops native to both (particularly Killington).
