Brookfield, Vermont
-Year incorporated or chartered: 1781 -Unincorporated villages and settlements: E. Brookfield -Location of the famous Floating Bridge, a 320-foot span made up of wood atop pontoons that crosses Sunset Pond. -There were 1222 residents of Brookfield at the 2000 census. -Brookfield was one of the first US towns to pass a resolution calling for the impeachment of George W.
