Virtual Vermonter - Brattleboro - Attractions

The Artist's Loft Gallery - The Artist’s Loft Gallery is a space for percolating ideas and inspirational renewal. Monthly shows feature the work of artists whose styles range from traditional to cutting edge. There are no boundaries here. A “Salon” atmosphere is created by artists and art lovers who stop by to see the latest work on display, to chat and to work.

Brattleboro Country Club - The Country Club is known for its ability to maintain a fiscally responsible organization, a professional atmosphere, and a well-maintained course without losing a congenial and comfortable clubhouse atmosphere.

Brattleboro Music Center - Founded in 1952 by artistic director Blanche Honegger Moyse, The Brattleboro Music Center is a unique, community-based organization, exceptional for the breadth and quality of its programs.

Brattleboro Museum & Art Center - The mission of the Brattleboro Museum & Art Center is to present the art of our time in a way that entertains, educates and enlightens audiences of all ages. BMAC is a non-collecting museum with 8-10 exhibits each year relating to an annual theme. The 2003 theme is Spirit & Vision. Thirty years of innovative exhibitions rarely seen in a small rural-based museum, educational programs, and special events make the Museum a cultural hub for the community.

Fort Dummer State Park - The campground has 51 tent/trailer sites and 10 lean-to sites. These are located in two adjacent areas and are served by two toilet buildings, both with hot showers ($).

Hooker-Dunham Theatre & Gallery - Features a variety of experiences, from art shows and films to theater, musicals and other events.

Kidsplayce - Originally the Children's Museum of Windham County, Kidsplace is geared towards kids aged 0-8 and offers a safe and stimulating place to play. Among the many things here to play in or on are a two-story townhouse, a castle, a ship and a train.
